Welcome to Dongguan Kinyi Packaging Technology Co., Ltd
Established in 2013, we are a manufacturer specialized in biodegradable molded pulp products in Dongguan, China.
2013
KINYI was founded by Mr. Kevin He as an R&D company dealing with molded pulp packaging.
2017
After years of experience in this industry, KINYI started its own production facility to meet the rapidly increasing business.
2021
KINYI set up its second manufacturing facility and its own mould-making department to further expand.
We use renewable sugarcane bagasse, bamboo fiber, and recycled paper as raw materials. The materials are first mixed with water and beaten into slurry, then the slurry is molded into different products under high temperature and pressure. No harmful substances are added during production, and there is zero waste water or gas emission. All our molded pulp products break down in soil within a short time—approximately 3 months—making them an ideal sustainable replacement for plastic packaging.
We provide comprehensive customization services, accept low MOQs, and can develop rapid prototypes to shorten development turnaround. Our engineers possess over 10 years of experience in the molded pulp industry. We operate 2 affiliated plants featuring 3 production systems, supporting dry and wet press sugarcane pulp as well as dry press recycled pulp to flexibly suit client requirements.
We have worked closely with customers across North America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, and globally.
🛡️ Currently KINYI is FSC, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certified. All products pass FDA, REACH, and RoHS tests.
Q1. Are you a trader or a manufacturer?
We are a manufacturer located in Dongguan, China. We operate two production facilities located in Daojiao and Houjie.
Q2. What kind of products do you make?
We mainly design and produce molded pulp packaging. There are two primary categories:
a. Traditional dry-press type made from recycled corrugated paper, typically used for protective transportation packaging like wine shippers and egg trays.
b. High-end wet-press type made from sugarcane bagasse, featuring an ultra-smooth and precise surface.
Q3. Are your pulp products really biodegradable?
Yes, our pulp products are 100% biodegradable within 90 days in soil. Since they are derived purely from plant fibers, we can readily provide certifications and test evidence to verify environmental compliance.
Q4. Will there be any tooling cost to make such pulp products?
Yes, customized molds require initial tooling costs, which are typically slightly higher than basic plastic molds. However, this tooling fee can be fully refunded once your orders meet our minimum mass-production quantities.
Q5. Can you make packaging designs according to our custom requirements?
We provide FREE custom design drawings based on your exact ideas or products. Simply provide dimensions, reference photos, or physical samples, and our engineering department will complete the custom structure design within 1 to 2 business days.
Q6. Besides white and brown colors, can you manufacture other colors?
While natural white, brown, and black are standard choices, we can customize nearly any required color tone upon request. Custom colors may require a higher minimum order quantity (MOQ) and adjusted pricing.
